Search for members by location

Is there any way to search for members by location?
e.g. if I wanted to find any other members in my suburb?

I don't think there are any privacy issues since:
- the location field in your profile is optional
- the location field is publicly viewable already

Just that there is no way to easily search or view it.

Can this be added to the members advanced search?

You cannot search by location. There is no facility for that.

However I have set up the members list so it now shows location. Many don't put a true location or just list as Australia etc so it isn't really all that reliable.

Neil, having set it up to now show location you can export the membership list into Excell and then use that program's sort facility to sort on the location field.

Little bit more work for those that really want to it.
